Hilton Market Analysis

I worked together with Hilton to create wireframes for a dashboard that would analyze market share projections, trends and performance throughout their global properties.

The PM and I met with the internal Hilton team and Accenture to gather requirements and review existing high-level wireframes to ensure we had the feature set nailed down. During these meetings, we had to determine what was feasible within the MicroStrategy platform and where we needed to make revisions.

I then proceeded to design a series of wireframes for different sections within the dashboard and sent them to the internal Hilton team for feedback and approval. Daily video sessions also took place with Hilton to share my progress. I made any changes and provided clarification as needed.

There were many complexities to take into account while designing as well as a plethora of screens to create. Whenever I encountered challenges or complications within the design, I shared my thought processes with the PM in order to brainstorm and develop new solutions. It was extremely helpful to work alongside the dev team to ensure the design would be feasible for them and prevent any roadblocks down the line.

Once the wireframe process had been signed off, I began to flesh out the look and feel of the dashboard and started creating mockups. I mentored and worked with a junior designer on my team to help create additional screens once they were signed off and provided feedback to him to help ensure consistency across the work.

While the complexities of the project at times proved to be challenging, it was immensely gratifying to create designs for a team that really respected and loved the work. We were all so excited to be a part of something that had such a big impact within the organization.
